Ready to switch to iOS? Download the Move to iOS app to seamlessly transition from an Android device to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Before you start
Connect it, along with your new iOS device, to a power outlet.
Make sure the content you want to move, including that on your external Micro SD card, can be stored on your new iOS device.

Open and configure the Move to iOS app
If you don’t have the Move to iOS app, you can tap the QR Code button on your new iOS device and scan the QR code using your Android
Tap Continue and enable notification permissions if necessary.
Wait for a code to be displayed
On your iOS device, tap Continue when the “Migrate from Android” screen appears. If your Android device says your internet connection is weak, you can ignore this message.
Connect to a temporary Wi-Fi network
Your iOS device creates a temporary Wi-Fi network. When prompted, tap Connect to connect to that network on your Android device, then wait for the Transfer Data screen to appear.
Select the content to transfer, then wait

The app then transfers your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, photo albums, files and folders, accessibility settings, display settings, web bookmarks, email accounts, WhatsApp messages and media, and calendars. If available in Google Play and the App Store, some of your free apps are also transferred. Once the transfer is complete, you can download all the matched free apps in the App Store.
Transfer your phone number and SIM card or eSIM
You can then activate your phone number, as well as your SIM card or eSIM. You may be directed to your operator’s website to finalize this activation.
Set up your iOS device
Once the progress bar is full on your iOS device, tap OK on your Android device. Then tap Continue on your iOS device, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup .
Complete the setup
Make sure all content has been transferred. You will need to manually transfer your music, books, and PDF files.
Need to recover the apps that were on your Android device?
In case of transfer problems
Do not perform any operations on your devices until the data transfer is complete. The Move to iOS app must remain open in the foreground during the entire process. If you open another app or take a call with your Android device before the transfer is complete, the transfer will fail.
On your Android device, turn off any apps or settings that might be affecting your Wi-Fi connection, like Sprint Connections Optimizer or Smart Network Switch. Then, go to Wi-Fi in Settings and tap and hold each known network, then forget them. Then, try the transfer again.
Restart both devices and try again.
Turn off the mobile data connection on your Android device. Then try the transfer again.
